Thank you ,for your comment and yes G.Henry i feel would be the perfect EPD to bring on our young talant .After all his done everything you can do as a coach he has nothing to prove there .But establishing a programme to help turn talanted players into world class ones i think might appeal to him and be a challange .After all the SH posters are always going on about Englands vast pool of players ( forgetting that France also has the same by the way lol) Well R.Andrews programme has started to identify and develop the talanted youngsters and is now starting tio bear fruit Someone like G.Henry is now needed to turn those talanted youngsters in to world class players its the logical next step imo

I thought Youngs looked better than in previous recent games, but I agree, we jsut need to get the ball to the 10 ASAP, Dickson demonstrated teh difference this makes excellently. I couldn't really see why he went off, but a good team should have 2 good 9s (Bracken/Dawson) and I don't understand why Simpson doesn't get a run. Also agree that Ashtons useless right now, his head is in the wrong place. After Johnny May's performance at the weekend I might like to see him come in. I feel sad for Dowson as he should have been getting his caps years ago. I thought Parling and Botha were excellent and again, not sure why Lawes was broguht on.

Hi Brad; do the good people at the centre link know that you are using their computers to post on message boards when you're supposed to be looking for that surfing instructors job?

lol! Thats a brilliant joke about the Aussies, given that currently England have won the last two matches against them (one in Australia) and Ireland won their last match against them. Yeah, such a gap there then... What can us poor northern hemisphere folks do against such unrelenting opposition? Plus to praise Australia and criticise England's scrum in the same comment is laughable.
I thought the match yesterday was massive step in the right direction. There were still issues obviously. I thought Stevens and Youngs coming on really weakened the team and both should be dropped. Does anyone else think that Youngs looked really slow? Maybe his injury has had a long term effect on him and he's struggling to adapt his game given he's arriving at the ball a later. Maybe replace him with Simpson? I thought Ashton has yet again looked lost and slow, so we should bring in someone like Sharples or Jonathan Joseph. Dowson was yet again ineffectual. It would be great if Wood was back, has anyone heard anything about how he's recovering?
I feel this is the time to be ruthless in selection, if people aren't performing get someone else. We tried a brand new half back combination on Saturday and it performed well. The experience of Youngs and Flood would not have performed like that, so lets just find players that are performing.
Other than that I think the team should stay the same. Tuilagi and Morgan clearly ran out of steam during the match, but hopefully they'll be fitter for the next game. Lawes will hopefully prove more of an impact went he comes off the bench next time!
@melkdave
Completely agree about the coaching situation. I'd like Lancaster to stay in charge and have G.Henry come in on a more general role. I think he could really help with getting our young talent up to international quality.

@ cuw31 - get over yourself. this isn't a p!ssing contest between the hemispheres, it's the 6N. England are well behind in ther development, when compared to Aus or Wales, let alone SA or NZ. Just be gracious and give credit where it's due.
And if you'd watched the match, you would have seen a lot more than just defence from the centres, particulalry Tuilagi.

England shoud be positive. This game was a massive improvement and we nearly beat a Wales team playing well and being touted as WC contenders in 2015.
I wonder if England are happier than Wales after yesterday's game. After all Wales were supposed to humiliate England and they didnt. Not by a long way.
Which leads me to one question;
Are Wales as good as everyone is saying they are??

I think England were unlucky not to win.Only some poor reactionary timing and defence to Wales last try prevented them from taking this game.
Wales is overated, especially by their Coach- who should know better.

The job is his. He has done as much as anyone could. Forget player pools, think world class and England have few. Nothing against Mallett but 'no', SL should have the job.

SL and co have alot to be proud of despite the loss .Ive posted elsewhere that 3-4 weeks just isnt enough time to fully bed an offensive system or philosophy The 1st half our good defence held Wales out as they started really well.Then we saw just a glimpse of what is Englands new attack.A high tempo running game able to hit close to the maul or out wide .Which banboozeled Wales.There where some dodgy refering decisions -no penalty try for Priestlands blatant foul play -no yellow card and penalty for Norths delibrate slapping the ball out.But im not going to blame S.Walsh as ive posted before referees will miss things and make mistakes they arnt omipotent gods.So France away next can England again raise their game another leval well with hopefully 2 weeks till Paris i hope so Question is will the clubs allow the players to stay together for the national good or want their players back for league games??IMO only those players needing gametime or to find form should be released for next weekend IE Tulagi -Flood -Youngs-Lawes.The vast majority should stay together to try and bed the offensive system just a little more Lancaster and co to be honest have done wonders with a green team in such a short amount of time i really wonder if we need a N.Mallet or some other big coach .One thing i would like to see though is G.Henry or possibly N.Mallet given the EPDs role at the RFU to develop the raft of great young talant we have comming through atm from R.Andrews programe.That i feel would have far better and longer lasting benifits for England than just them being coach which SL and co i belive should continue doing
