Well hopfully the likes of S.Johnson and M.Taylor will see changes to the Scotland squad .Hogg -Denton and to a lesser degree Jones have done well this season along with R.Grey whos been outstanding. For to long scottish players have been virtually assured of their squad selection i hope thats changing .Injuries have also i feel hindered Scotland this season ie Ansbro -Brown -M.Low and they have to small a pool of players So it hurts more when players get injured and cant play ect also why isnt Grove in the squad perplexing imo.The biggest problem however is the front row its struggled all championship and at the RWC are there any international class props in Scotland i ask myself ??.As to the game this weekend as ive posted earlier on differant thread I see no clear winner.Going to be a very hard and close game and hopefully a Scotland victory

One change!!! Jeeezz.. DeLuca has one good 40 minutes against France in all of his 30 caps and he's been brought straight back into the team!! Truth be told, Scots fans are so used to losing, they're not that desperate for victory on Saturday! Grove, Cuthbert and Murchie should've been in along with Matt Scott. Instead, it's the same old crap backline.. Morrison, who didn't figure at the start of the 6N and deLuca who was dropped halfway through!! Murray hasn't shown enough commitment on the field for Scotland and it still gauls many fans when he was substituted during a welsh thumping last year, he came off smiling!!
Sooner the match in Rome is over, the better! Ross Ford is a nice guy but he definitely ain't captain material.. Too quiet and not enough presence..
Hopefully Scotland won't regress any further..

Euan Murray should never be allowed anywhere near the Scotland set ever again... unless he is totally committed to playing for his country.
If he wants to put the chatting with imaginary friends before representing his country that is fine, but he should not and never recieved preferential treatment. He is just not that good.

Can anyone explain to me how Euan Murray goes from being the difference maker (according to Victor Matfield) on the Lions tour to riding the pine for the Scots? I get that his religious beliefs limited his match-time w/ Northampton but he doesn't play on sundays w/ Newcastle, so what's the deal? Also why can't Ally Hogg get another chance for Scotland and why has Simon Taylor eliminated himself from national contention? I've been asking that for 2 years w/ no answer.

I wonder who Allain Rolland will be cheering for on Saturday, The other guy will not have a dog's chance.

I would have dropped Lamont in a heartbeat for Cuthbert... Would have done the same with Morrison and selected Alex Grove with Deluca in the midfeild. Laidlaw should be moved to nine with Jackson at 10. I'm not confident and apart from the effect on world rankings I wouldn't be that upset if we loose. It will make Scotland even more desperate for a win against the Wallabies in June.(Which I think they will get)

Oh dear Mr Rolland refereeing again, with dear old Mr Clancy running the line .Luckily France not involved so if Scotland can put something together they may have a chance however Italy are unlikely to give them a lot of ball and man for man their backs might just have the edge. All things being equal Scotland are going to struggle.
