I know this is totally off topic but id like to start a campaign for Heinken cup qulification to change for the pro12 teams with it being only the top6 finishers in the league getting qualification no matter their country and atm the 2 Italian teams (reviewed after 4 years so they have time to get experiance ect)I feel that this would actually make the league relavant as atm its a bit farcical for a team finishing say 10th getting Hieeken cup qualification just because they finish 1 place above another team of the same counry So come on Planet Rugby how about asking us our opinions on this matter with a dedicated thread ??its also a bit unfair to the English and French clubs as Irish -Welsh and Scotish clubs can play 2nd strings in the pro12 and get no downside whatever allowing them to rest players for the Heieken ansd get extra training ect for Hienken matches

@thatllbeme and @sebbb... i agree the internal hiring of coaches has to stop, when declan kidney left for the Ireland head job and Tony got the munster job, the backs coach was left vancant for a full season with Tony covering both head coach and backs coach and the hiring of Jason Holland has not working out. He does not have the imagination to lead the back PLUS the current backs dont feed from his inspiration.

I go to the club and I am a member of "Shannon RFC" and often travel to their away games so i get a good overview of the potential tallent pool and i have to say it is in the leinster and ulster provincal clubs where the talented backs are not in munster, so if munster are to get irish players we would be buying in from leinster and ulster. but i have say at under-age level of munster rugby there is a high potential if the grass roots were trained in a similar way to the private and non-private schools of leinster which is where the real talent will be produced.

Munster trying to buy James Downey and Casey Laulala aged 30 and 29 respectively, is this really the way Tony and munster heads are thinking our way out of this hole??

Besides did the IRFU not restrict the hiring of overseas players as Casey Laulala has been capped by the All Blacks how can his signing be secured!!!

Come on munster get a young saffa with a clever boot and a kiwi with some mori muscle and lets make a creative, dynamic center partnership that when the given time will be able to compete with the leinsters, tigers, clermonts and toulouses of this world :) xxx

ps get well soon niall x
