look out SA - Jake is going recruiting. He's off to recruit a development player for the Brumbies with the aim of them going on to play for the Wallabies in three years time.

JW ¿My first year I deliberately didn¿t go out and try and head hunt anybody because I wanted to see what talent there was available in my own squad."

Well he's answered that one - not enough talent, either for Brumbies or Wallabies. Disappointing for the current Super players who are actually Australians to find they are not considered good enough, but actions like this are inside the eligibility laws, so ok.

For his first season as coach he did well with a team that didnt have many stars in it. He picked a bunch of young guys who have bright futures. The opposite to what Lam did with my blues who over the years has selected old tired players on reputation over young up and coming talented players. Stowers should have gotten way more game time.

Trinats...What about Eddies glittering record with the wallabies?. At least when he helped out the Springboks he got a team with a decent forward pack, which is of course a novelty for any Australian coach..

Trinuts2...apart from his failure with the Reds, Eddie's doing really well with Japan haha, they won the wooden spoon in the PNC 2012...

Jake, wish you would take over the Sharks. Great job this year.

@Trinuts where are the other exclamation marks? Surely this is another of your wind up posts. Eddie Jones indeed, have you already forgotten his time with the Reds lol.

The Brumbies & the Hurricanes are sides that look to be heading in the right direction. A lot of young talent & coaches that have made an immediate impact on belief & consistancy of performance.
