Taranaki: Edge past Tasman

Ramage says...
Yes Genghis but they should never have lost the game against Manawatu but for a missed transfer of the ball forward by the Home Town Manawatu assistant referee who passed on wrong information to the referee of the day. This allowed the try and a Manawatu win. Super 15 assistant referees have been stood down for blunders and I wonder if the same will apply to this Manawatu referee who made such a serious mistake. These kind of Home Town decisions brings refereeing into disrepute and strong action must be taken against the perpetrators of these Home Town decisions as there is no place for this in our national game.
