In desperate weather in Belfast, Ireland A beat Tonga 48-19 on Friday, scoring seven tries in an impressive display.
It took the Irish a while to break truly free, despite a perfect start from Brett Wilkinson's early close-range try and two Ian Humphreys penalties.
Vunga Lilo provided a brief lifeline for Tonga, but Andrew Trimble and Darren Cave give the Irish the cushion they wanted.
Suka Hufanga pulled points back for Tonga late on in the first half, but two more quick tries, early in the second half from Neil Best and Gavin Duffy, took the Irish well clear.
Cave added another and Ian Keatley scored the seventh as Tonga ran out of energy to defend.
